Testimonials

"I grew up in Bend and have always loved the outdoors, but I am new to backpacking. Cody and Khyra show me how to make delicious meals, how to pack and basic trail etiquette. Knowing I am well prepared has really motivated me to join more overnight trips!" - Jill

“Completely enjoyed the workshop we attended. Excellent information and learned valuable prepping skills for the upcoming hiking season! Looking forward to more classes with Khyra and Cody.” - Liz

“Great practical value for camping and hiking. We made meals that were more nutritious and less expensive than store bought.” - Bryan

“Wildland Guiding Company hosted a wonderful Backpacking Food Workshop! Going into it I felt uncomfortable creating my own backpacking meals and would rather purchase a pre-made package. Walking out of the class I felt confident that I could put together my own meals and create the meals that I want to eat, not just what's available pre-made.” - Natallie

Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions or concerns. Looking forward to seeing you there!
